Team IHRR together with DCA Nepal, NAXA and NNSWA-Kanchanpur visited the upstream of the Mahakali river and studied the dynamics of water discharge from Sharada Barrage and Tanakpur Bridge. The stations from DHM were also visited alongside the local consultations.

The flood inventory was prepared during this visit. Similarly, the consultation was carried out with the local community and local government. The preliminary findings of the field visit was presented to the Dodhara Chandani Rural Municipality.
