 The ACT FIRST project focused on developing and strengthening Anticipatory Action for flooding in the Lower Mahakali Region of Nepal, particularly in Dodhara Chandani and Bheemdatta municipalities. The project explored and applied cutting-edge and frontier technologies to improve flood early warning, risk information, and community preparedness. By connecting technology-based early warning information with anticipatory actions, the project aimed to enable communities and local stakeholders to take timely measures before flood impacts occur, thereby reducing potential losses and strengthening local resilience.
