The assignment focused on strengthening provincial-level Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems (MHEWS) through strategic planning and the development of Early Action Protocols. The work supported the finalization of the MHEWS Strategic Action Plan for Karnali Province and the development of an Early Action Protocol to facilitate effective implementation. It also involved consultations with stakeholders at district and local government levels to review the strategic plan, strengthen coordination, and secure institutional commitment toward completing the policy formulation process. A final sharing workshop was organized with relevant ministries and stakeholders to present the outputs and support their uptake.
