The assignment focused on developing a preliminary conceptual framework for assessing climate- and disaster-related Loss and Damage. The framework identifies key domains, categories, indicators, data requirements, analytical approaches, and institutional considerations. A proof-of-concept methodology and illustrative workflow were also developed to demonstrate how the proposed framework could be applied in a future pilot assessment.
