Ms. Manisha K.C.

Manisha K.C. is a meteorologist working in early warning systems. She holds a Master's degree in Hydrology and Meteorology and has extensive experience in weather analysis, hydrological modeling, and forecast dissemination. Currently, she is actively engaged in the Impact Based Forecasting (IBF) project, enhancing disaster preparedness and risk reduction in different regions of Nepal. Manisha has also conducted multiple field surveys, river discharge measurements, and hydrometeorological data analyses, contributing to hydropower feasibility and climate change research. She has developed guiding manuals for using forecast data in anticipatory activities, ensuring effective early warning systems in Nepal. Her work focuses on enhancing early warning systems to mitigate disaster risks.
