Akshyama Aryal, our Agriculture Officer, is a dedicated professional with an academic background in Agriculture and is currently pursuing her Master's in Agribusiness Economics. She offers a wealth of experience and skills, specializing in the intersection of technical strategy and resilient farming systems. Known for her hands-on approach, Akshyama excels at bridging the gap between scientific research and practical, data-driven farming solutions. She also collaborates with farming communities and local governments to implement inclusive, science-based solutions that mitigate risk, enhance productivity, and secure sustainable livelihoods for the future. With a strong research background in plant protection, sustainable farming, and climate-smart agriculture, she is deeply committed to building community resilience against modern challenges ranging from pest outbreaks to climate volatility. Akshyama brings extensive experience in field-based assessments, farmer coordination, and technical reporting, ensuring that every intervention, particularly in plant protection, land use systems, and cropping patterns, is science-based, practical, and responsive to the specific needs of communities.
